![]() She remained there until Dad retired in 1996 when they turned into Snowbirds. She liked the job but especially loved her clients and spoke fondly of them to her family. She worked and took courses at the same time and eventually got a Certificate from Kelsey Institute in the Home Care Service Program. It was at this time, when Joey was older and didn't need her so much, that she went back into the work force for Home Care in Swift Current. AA saved her life and gave us back our loving mother, wife and friend. We are so proud of her for her 36 years of sobriety. It was a couple years after they sold the Motel that Mom went into treatment for alcohol addiction and joined Alcoholics Anonymous. ![]() In 1978 Dad and Mom bought the City Centre Motel which they operated for 4 years. Mom was a wife, mother, and home maker first, and she did all 3 with love, grace and hard work. She met many women through all of her home-based businesses, Avon, Tupperware and Weekender Clothing. Cory was born on August 5, 1961, followed by Connie on October 22, 1962, Peter on March 4, 1966, and Joey on October 11, 1970. Dad soon got a job with Sask Power which began their many moves and lasting friendships throughout the province. Mom married the love of her life on August 3, 1960, and they started their life together in Regina. During this time she took classes and graduated from the Joan Wadsworth School of Charm and Modelling. After that she went to work for the Unemployment Insurance Commission on April 7, 1960, where she earned a wage of $1.00 an hour. After high school she went to Regina to Robinson's Secretarial School. Her first paying job! She finished out her schooling in Admiral, where Grandpa and Grandma managed the Co-op store. Aunt Joy was just starting her teaching career and for Mom to stay with her they had to list her as the custodian. Then she spent her grade 6 year with her sister Joy, in Leitchville School. ![]() She attended school in numerous locations, Antelope, Blucher, Snowden. Mom was born Rose Mary Lloyd on June 27, 1942, the third daughter to Truman (Pete) and Emily Lloyd. She was predeceased by her Parents, Pete and Emily Lloyd, Mother and Father in-law, Remy and Dora Boutin Brother-in-law, Herbert Wallis Brothers and Sisters in-law, Roy Boutin Helen and Garth Warrener Ivan and Eva Boutin Donald and Blanche Boutin Wilfred and Patricia Boutin Roger and Shirley Cote. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Bill Boutin, 3 sons Cory, Bret (Megan) and Rainn, Britany Rudge (Steve) and daughter-in-law Sandy Boutin Peter (Dawn), Emily (Konrad) and Owen Joey (Kimberly) Danah, Audrey, and Justine one daughter Connie Rayner (Bruce) Todd Bymoen (Mandi) Carson and Boaz Marina Wright (Duane) Nadia and Samuel, and Liam Rayner 2 Sisters, Joy Wallis and Lois Bangle (Stuart) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Rose Mary Boutin passed away at Clover House on Maafter a short battle with cancer.
